Cécile Baron, UPMC

I work on propagation of ultrasound waves in heterogeneous media and particurlarly on anisotropic materials with unidirectionnal gradient of elastic properties. For several years I have been studied biological media such as cortical bone. I'm interested in porous media (multiple scattering) and in soft tissues such as the skin and the arterial wall (non linear behaviour).
